Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an auditor to ensure compliance with internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.

The role verifies assets and liabilities, completes audit workpapers, updates audit programs, communicates findings, and maintains professional knowledge. It serves mainly overseas clients, including Singapore, using integrated audit software, with office-based requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.
• Verifies assets and liabilities by comparing items to documentation.
• Completes audit workpapers by documenting audit tests and findings.
• Maintains internal control systems by updating audit programs and questionnaires; recommending new policies and procedures.
• Communicates audit findings by preparing a final report; discussing findings with auditees.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Assess tax computations.
• Required to be in Office.
• Required to perform above services for mainly overseas clients, i.e Singapore clients using one of the most integrated audit software online.
