Job summary

Seagull Cooling Technologies in Malaysia is seeking an Internal Project Engineer (Management Trainee) to assist in planning, coordinating and executing internal projects at Damansara, Selangor. This role focuses on improving internal processes, collecting data for decision-making, and collaborating with multiple departments to align with company goals and KPIs.

The incumbent will carry out project admin tasks, participate in KPI development and training heads of departments on performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Account and Finance, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong interest in project management, process improvement, and organizational development.
• Good interpersonal skills with good communication ability to communicate across all levels of the organization.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn with a proactive attitude.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and independently.
• Good in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.
• Willing to participate in company-wide projects and occasional travel if required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing internal company projects.
• Support in creating, improving and optimizing company internal processes, workflows, and systems.
• Assist in collecting, organizing, and analysing project data for decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Take initiative to work with different functional departments and business units to support inter-company collaboration and alignment to company goals.
• Participate in the development and implementation of departmental KPIs, including training Heads of Departments (HODs) on how to draft, monitor, and achieve their performance targets.
• Carry out general project administrative tasks, such as report preparation, filing, and documentation management.
• Undertake other ad-hoc duties or projects assigned by the Project Manager.
