Job summary

Prudential in Kuala Lumpur invites applications for a Risk & Compliance Analytics Internship. Gain hands-on experience applying quantitative methods to risk monitoring and regulatory challenges within a regulated financial services environment.

You'll analyze data, develop dashboards, and support risk assessments while collaborating with stakeholders across functions. Open to students pursuing Actuarial Science, Data Analytics, or related disciplines, with strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Data Analytics, Statistics or other quantitative disciplines.
• Preferably available to commence the internship in November or December 2026.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working with data and interpreting insights.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, Python, R or other analytical tools would be an added advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, curious and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Gain hands-on experience within Prudential's Risk & Compliance function, supporting risk management, compliance and business resilience initiatives through data analysis, research and reporting. This internship is ideal for students with strong analytical capabilities who are interested in applying quantitative and data-driven approaches to solve business and risk challenges within a regulated financial services environment.
