Job summary

AIA Malaysia invites applications for a general accounting role focused on maintaining the integrity, accuracy and completeness of accounting records in line with group policies and regulatory requirements.

You will perform ledger maintenance, prepare and reconcile accounts, analyse transactions, support forecasting and budgeting, and assist in statutory reporting and financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform general accounting activities including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements
• Prepare, record, analyse and report accounting transactions
• Provide forecast, budgeting and analysing variations from budget to relevant functions
• Analyse and prepare statutory accounts, financial statements and reports
• Conduct or assist in the documentation of accounting projects
