Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding in Subang Jaya offers an internship for Business & Logistics students in the Airfreight Department. You will learn from senior experts and support various areas of the department, gaining hands-on experience.

Job Description This job is an internship for Business & Logistics students. You would learn from our senior experts and work in Airfreight Department. You might like this job because it offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various areas of the department and learn from experienced professionals. During this internship, you would be learning from our senior experts. Your daily job scope consists of different area within the department of Airfreight.

Responsibilities

• Support team members in providing allocation and reservations of freight on planned linehaul and flights required for hub and operations performance.
• Provide basic administrative support to consolidate, record information and handle day-to-day shipment documentation.
• Draft and assist reporting on recent developments of new solutions, services, lane, and traffic development.
• Under close supervision support AFR product and capacity management methods focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency
• Support team members in timely monitoring and accurate updating of products (track & trace).
• Communicate information that requires little explanation or interpretation.
• Any ah-hoc tasks that is assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• Diploma and/or Degree in Logistics, Transportation, and/or Business Studies with minor in logistics and supply chain.
• It will be added advantage if you have previous experience dealing with customers.
• Being able to write and speak professionally in English.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).
• This internship location is at Subang Jaya, USJ 25.

We welcome students with at least 4-6 months internship to apply with us! Successful candidate will be provided internship allowance on a monthly basis.
