Job summary

DKSH Group in Kuala Lumpur invites applications for an Intern (.NET Application) to gain hands-on experience in IT application development and testing.

You will work with HTML, CSS, .NET, JavaScript and MS SQL, supporting design, deployment and knowledge transfer while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a growth‑oriented environment. Bachelor’s degree students in Computing/IT are encouraged to apply and English proficiency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computing/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Experience with designing, testing, and deploying IT applications.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, .NET, API testing and JavaScript tools.
• Familiarity with latest JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, Vue, Node).

Responsibilities

• Test application solution designs aligned with BS standards and processes.
• Research and analyze BS-related applications with new technologies.
• Analyze business requirements to develop suitable application solutions.
• Share best practices with other SMEs on BS design and policies.
• Adhere to development and coding standards defined by management.
• Communicate user needs and ensure systems operate at optimal performance.
• Engage with IT to identify system deficiencies and propose solutions.
• Conduct knowledge transfer and training with internal IT or stakeholders.

Description:

General responsibilities

• Testing application solution designs, aligning with defined IT applications, Business Solutions standards and processes to ensure adherence;
• Research and analyse Business Solutions related applications on new technologies as a part of Business Solutions development;
• Check and analyse business requirements, in turn developing appropriate application solutions, considering technical design/financial/operations aspects;
• Share best practices with other subject matter experts in the team related to BS application design, development, processes and policies;
• Adhere to development and coding standards as defined by technical management;
• Communicate user needs and priorities, ensuring systems developed operate at optimal performance, as well as to the user's satisfaction;
• Engage with other IT and identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions;
• Conduct knowledge transfer, training and best practice sharing with internal IT or internal stakeholders to ensure knowledge availability/continuity.

Functional skills and knowledge

• Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Computing/Information Technology or its equivalent.
• Demonstrate technical skills, particularly in the relevant IT application areas and implementations which design, testing, and deployment Skillsets: HTML, CSS, .NET, Unit Test, API, JavaScript, jQuery, MS SQL, Store Procedure.
• Having exposure on .Net technology
• Have knowledge with the latest JavaScript Framework (Angular,React,Vue,Node .etc) is a bonus.
• Have knowledge in a product management environment.
• Strong sense of work ownership and a desire for constant improvement.
• Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
• Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken;
