Job summary

Jora Malaysia is offering an internship for a Mechanical / Project Engineering role. The program provides exposure to palm oil upstream processing, project requirements, and engineering workflows.

You will gain hands-on experience in daily tasks and participate in weekly project meetings. The internship requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be pursuing or have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Motivated, adaptable and detail-oriented with problem-solving mindset.
• Familiarity with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.

Intern - Mechanical / Project Engineering

During the internship period, you will be exposed to the following areas:

Introduction to project requirements and engineering workflows.

Hands-on experience in daily engineering tasks.

Team integration through participation in weekly project meetings.

Any other tasks assigned by the manager.

Requirements

Candidate must possess or currently be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Motivated, adaptable, and detail-oriented.

Willing to learn and enjoys problem-solving.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Able to commit to a minimum of three months; six months would be an added advantage.

Preferably available for internship starting Sep 2026 onwards.
