Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented intern to support the Gas Planning team in gas supply planning, commercial operations, billing, invoicing, and data analysis activities. This internship provides valuable exposure to the gas value chain, including supply and demand planning, contract administration, gas billing processes, stakeholder engagement, and business reporting.

The successful candidate will work closely with planning and commercial personnel to support operational and strategic activities while gaining hands-on experience in the energy industry.

Key Responsibilities

Gas Planning Support

• Assist in the collection, validation, and analysis of gas supply and demand.
• Support the preparation of planning reports, presentations, and management updates.
• Monitor gas production, consumption, and allocation data to support planning activities.
• Conduct research on gas market developments, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain planning databases, trackers, and dashboards.

Billing & Invoicing Support

• Assist in the preparation, verification, and processing of gas billing and invoicing records.
• Support the reconciliation of gas volumes, allocation data, and commercial transactions.
• Verify billing information against contractual and operational data.
• Assist in tracking invoice status, payment records, and supporting documentation.
• Support the resolution of discrepancies and coordination with relevant stakeholders on billing matters.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and reporting purposes.

General Support

• Participate in meetings and capture key discussion points and action items.
• Assist in stakeholder coordination and information gathering.
• Support ad hoc studies, process improvement initiatives, and special projects assigned by the supervisor.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and business correspondence as required.
