Job summary

Fiffy Sdn. Bhd. in Masai, Johor is seeking a Fashion Design Intern to join our team on a contract basis. You will assist in trend research, social media content, events, supplier coordination, and visual merchandising.

Ideal candidates have a Diploma/Advanced Diploma or Bachelor in Textile/Fashion, are eager to learn, and work well in a team. Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required. Work hours are 8:00am–5:45pm, Monday to Friday.

About the role

We are seeking a talented and passionate Fashion Design Intern to join our dynamic team at Fiffy Sdn. Bhd. in Masai, Johor. This is a contract position, offering you the opportunity to gain invaluable experience in the fashion and textile design industry.

What you'll be doing

Research & Trend Analysis: Assist in collecting and analyzing the latest fashion trends, including popular colors, styles, fabrics, and design elements in the current market, to support the design team.

Social Media & Content Management: Support in updating and managing the brand's social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, WeChat), ensuring engaging and relevant content is consistently published.

Event Coordination: Aid in setting up event sites, handling guest reception, coordinating event activities, and managing other related tasks to ensure smooth event execution.

Supplier Coordination & Documentation: Assist in communicating with suppliers and organizing relevant documents to facilitate efficient departmental operations.

Visual Merchandising: Support in planning and implementing product displays, ensuring that the visual presentation aligns with the brand's image and marketing strategies.

Administrative Support: Provide daily administrative assistance, including organizing documents, handling sample mock-up reviews, and managing schedules.

Cross-Departmental Support: Collaborate with team members to complete temporary tasks related to other fashion departments as needed.

Design Assistance: Collect design inspiration, analyze market data, and propose innovative design concepts. Assist in creating sketches and completing design drawings according to project briefs.

What we're looking for

Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Textile/Fashion or equivalent.

Passionate with an eager-to-learn mindset.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Required skills: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.

Proficiency in math will be a bonus.
