Job summary

NTT DATA eCommerce Solutions Sdn. Bhd. in Kuala Lumpur invites passionate cybersecurity students to join our team. You will assist in monitoring security systems, conduct in-depth analyses to detect breaches, and help respond to threats while safeguarding sensitive data.

You will support vulnerability assessments, threat analysis, and the development of proactive cyber security programs, incident response, and root cause investigations to strengthen our defenses across Southeast Asia.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity regulations and standards (e.g. BNM Risk Management, PCI DSS, NIST CSF).
• Familiarity with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls and vulnerability scanners.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address security threats and vulnerabilities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring and conduct in-depth analysis of security systems and networks to promptly identify and respond to breaches or unauthorized access attempts.

Job description

Assist in monitoring and conduct in-depth analysis of security systems and networks to promptly identify and respond to any potential breaches or unauthorised access attempts, ensuring the utmost protection of sensitive data and information.

Assist in conducting vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and analysis of threats, vulnerabilities, and risks to the business.

Assist to enhance and manage cybersecurity programs, including technology controls, data protection, threat management, incident response, and develop proactive systems against cyber criminals.

Assist to investigate security incidents, meticulously identifying their root cause, and adeptly formulating robust action plans to prevent any recurrence of such incidents, reinforcing the organization's resilience against potential threats.

Requirements:

Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or equivalent.

Basic understanding of relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards (e.g. BNM Risk Management, PCI DSS, NIST Cybersecurity Framework).
