Job summary

Prudential Assurance Malaysia Berhad is seeking a degree student in actuarial science to assist in basic actuarial modeling, data manipulation, and results generation. You will help with system prep, testing, and documentation for filing purposes within a collaborative team.

The role supports actuarial documentation and file organization, with opportunities to learn Prophet, Excel, and scripting while working in a structured environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Degree in Actuarial Science or equivalent.
• Familiar with Prophet, Excel, VBA (added advantage).
• Has some knowledge on SAS and Scripting.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic actuarial modeling and data analysis.
• Generate and interpret results from models and simulations.
• Manipulate and clean data for reporting.
• Prepare system documentation and conduct testing of processes.
• Assist investigations and collect supporting evidence.
• Document actuarial work for filing and records.
• Organize actuarial files and ensure proper version control.
• Ensure backups and data integrity of working files.
