Job summary

Prudential Hong Kong Limited in Kuala Lumpur invites a motivated student pursuing a degree in Actuarial Science to join our actuarial team. You will work on basic actuarial modeling, data manipulation, and assist with documentation and filing tasks under supervision.

You'll gain hands-on exposure to Prophet, Excel and VBA, with SAS knowledge as a plus, and contribute to investigations, results generation and system testing in a collaborative, learning-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Degree in Actuarial Science or equivalent.
• Familiar with Prophet, Excel, VBA (added advantage).
• Has some knowledge on SAS and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Basic actuarial modeling.
• Generation and analysis of results.
• Data manipulation.
• System preparation and testing.
• Conducting investigations where necessary.
• Preparation of documentation for filing purpose.
• Organizing actuarial documentation.
• Ensure working files are properly documented and to perform data backup.
