Job description

We are looking for an Interior Designer with:

1. Artistic Ability with a sense of style, to develop designs that are aesthetically pleasing yet practical.
2. Detail-Oriented. Precise in measuring interior spaces and creating drawings to ensure furniture and furnishings fit correctly and create the desired environment.
3. Interpersonal Skills. Effective communication with clients and team members, including soliciting new clients and collaborating with designers, engineers, and contractors.
4. Problem-solving Skills. Ability to address challenges such as construction delays, material shortages, and budget constraints, ensuring projects stay on track.
5. Team Player. Ability to work independently and closely with procurement, project, and business development teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Job Requirements:

1. Diploma/Advanced or Higher/Graduate Diploma in Art, Design, Creative Multimedia, or equivalent.
2. At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
3. Languages: Bahasa Malaysia, English; additional languages are a plus.
4. Skills: AutoCAD, 3D Max, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop.
5. Strong flair in 2D detailing, layout, construction drawings, and styling for completed projects.
6. Proven leadership and mentorship abilities within a design team.
7. Project management experience, capable of leading projects independently from start to finish.
8. Additional skills in architecture and visualization are advantageous.
