Job description

• Prepare sketches, space planning, and design development within budget.
• Able to liaise with sub-contractor/suppliers on various stages of design works.
• Brief and explain proposed design works and finishes to sub-contractor/suppliers before work commences.
• Work within a timely schedule and report work progress to superiors.
• Understand the company vision and design aesthetics, helping drive a consistent design sensibility across all projects.
• Possess a well-developed eye for scale and balance, designing elements that ‘fit’ the space for maximum impact.
• Prepare project costing, material selection, and technical drawings.
• Resolve design-related issues at all project stages.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum credits in SPM for BM, English, Technical Math, and 2 science subjects.
• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design/Architecture.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, AutoCAD, and 3D Max.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office & SketchUp is an advantage.
• Must be able to speak Bahasa Malaysia & English.
• Immediate availability is an advantage.
• Strong flair in Interior Design, especially retail and commercial projects.
• Teamwork-oriented, highly disciplined, creative, and innovative personality.
