Job description

Job Description

1. Visiting job sites to analyze space availability, design needs, and the purpose of the space.
2. Attending meetings with management to understand design needs and preferences regarding interior styles and colors.
3. Creating initial design sketches, color themes, and ideas based on management requirements and space availability.
4. Obtaining approval from mall authorities before creating CAD designs and detailed briefs for workers and supervisors.
5. Hiring contractors and vendors such as carpenters, painters, plumbers, and electricians to implement design ideas.
6. Overseeing the procurement of raw materials and items required to complete the project.
7. Arranging site visits, managing the project, and keeping all stakeholders updated on progress.
8. Ensuring project completion within the allocated budget and timeline.
9. Producing 2D drawings and 3D renderings for clients.
10. Attending meetings with related authorities.
11. Performing other ad hoc tasks as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

1. Diploma/Degree in Interior Design or a related field.
2. At least 2 to 3 years of experience as an Interior Designer.
3. Expertise in layout, color, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture, and all installations.
4. Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, V-Ray, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator, or other design software.
5. Excellent portfolio of previous works.
6. Attention to detail, artistic ability, vision, and creativity.
7. Strong communication and presentation skills.
8. Experience in graphic design is an advantage.
