- Degree in Interior Design or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar interior design role
- Experienced in using REVIT, AutoCAD and various editing programs in the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) with minor guidance.
- Strong technical skills, including space planning, 3D modelling, and project management
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and team members
- Creative problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail
- A passion for interior design and a commitment to staying up-to-date with industry trends
- Concept Development: Collaborated with the design team to develop interior design concepts, space planning layouts, and mood boards aligned with client briefs and brand identity.
- Design Documentation: Produced comprehensive 2D drawings (floor plans, elevations, sections) and 3D visualizations to communicate design intent clearly.
- Material & FF&E Specification: Sourced, selected, and specified finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with budget constraints and project timelines.
- Client & Consultant Coordination: Attended client meetings (virtual and in-person) and liaised with UK-based consultants, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure project alignment and design compliance.
- Site Implementation: Provided on-site design support during implementation, ensuring build quality and fidelity to design specifications.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensured designs complied with local building codes, health and safety standards, and accessibility regulations.
- Project Management: Managed design deliverables and project timelines, ensuring milestones and deadlines were consistently met.
- Team Leadership: Led the design process including concept creation, material availability checks, and integration of innovative retail design solutions.
- Technical Proficiency: Developed and presented design concepts using Revit, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Construction Coordination: Prepared construction drawing packages and ensured coordination with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) consultants, with a particular focus on plumbing design integration.
