• Project Oversight: Manage and lead the interior design team through all stages of design and implementation, from concept development to final execution.
• Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are understood, and their feedback is integrated into the design process.
• Design Leadership: Develop and present innovative, creative interior design concepts that align with client expectations, functionality, and aesthetics.
• Team Collaboration: Coordinate and mentor design team members, ensuring smooth workflow, effective communication, and high-quality results.
• Quality Control: Ensure that design work is of the highest quality and meets all specifications, regulatory requirements, and client satisfaction.
• Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring materials and furnishings align with the project’s vision and budget.
• Design Reviews: Conduct design reviews, prepare presentations, and provide feedback and direction to junior designers and other team members.
• Set Timelines and Goals: Set timelines and design goals to guide the team.
• Resolve Issues: Resolve any issues or challenges that may affect the quality of design or delay the project.
• Stay Updated on Trends: Keep up to date with emerging interior design trends, materials, technologies, and industry best practices.
• Budget & Schedule Management: Oversee project budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are completed within scope, on time, on budget and to a standard

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • Proven experience (typically 7+ years) in interior design, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Design Expertise: Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in diverse interior design projects, with proficiency in space planning, color theory, furniture, and lighting design.
• Leadership and Communication: Exceptional leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skills to lead and collaborate with design teams, clients, and vendors.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant tools. Knowledge of building codes and regulations is also important.
• Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating functional, aesthetically pleasing spaces.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to resolve challenges creatively and efficiently while keeping client needs and project goals in mind.
• Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
• Passion for Design: A deep passion for interior design with a drive to create innovative, impactful spaces that inspire.
• Project Management Skills: Solid experience managing budgets, schedules, and teams while delivering projects on time and within budget.
