A leading company is seeking an Interface Engineer for a high-profile railway project in Kuching, Sarawak. In this role, you will manage interfaces between different project teams, ensuring effective communication and adherence to project objectives. The ideal candidate will hold a related degree and possess leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with 2-5 years of relevant railway project experience.
We are on the lookout for a skilled and experienced Interface Engineer to join our dynamic team for a high-profile railway project. This essential role focuses on managing and coordinating the interfaces between different project elements and teams, ensuring the project adheres to the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Interface Management and Coordination: Oversee and coordinate interfaces between various project elements and teams, ensuring smooth operations and effective collaboration.
2. Stakeholder Collaboration: Actively engage with both internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and government bodies, to facilitate seamless communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
3. Progress Reporting and Documentation: Regularly report on interface management progress, documenting achievements and challenges, to keep all stakeholders informed and in sync with the project status.
4. Interface Planning and Execution: Develop and maintain detailed plans for managing project interfaces, aligning all activities with the overall project objectives.
5. Risk Identification and Mitigation: Proactively identify potential risks associated with project interfaces and devise strategies to minimize their impact on project timelines and deliverables.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. At least 2 – 5 years of experience in railway projects, with a focus on interface management.
3. In-depth understanding of railway systems, construction processes, and industry regulations.
4. Exceptional skills in organization, leadership, and communication.
5. Proficiency in project management software and interface management tools.
6. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to evolving project requirements.
