Job summary

Kimberly-Clark is seeking an Intercompany Accounting Intern in Malaysia, Petaling Jaya. You will assist with monthly intercompany billings, journal entries, and reconciliation tasks while gaining exposure to intercompany best practices.

You will collaborate with Finance, Tax, Treasury, and regional teams, participate in process improvements, and develop hands-on experience through data analysis and project work in a flexible hybrid setup.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and issuance of monthly intercompany services billings, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures and controls.
• Prepare standard journal entries under supervision and verify intercompany invoice details and supporting documentation.
• Support weekly and monthly intercompany transaction matching across Kimberly-Clark entities, identify discrepancies and assist with issue resolution.
• Assist with month-end closing activities by compiling supporting documents, preparing reconciliation files and following up on outstanding items.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, and business partners across regions.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and gain exposure to intercompany accounting best practices and internal controls.
• Support projects including data analysis, process documentation, testing and project-related activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES：

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS :

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong interest in accounting, finance operations and intercompany accounting processes.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, journal entries and financial statements.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
