Job summary

Zurich Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad is seeking a Risk Surveyor to perform risk assessment on general insurance risks and provide written reports with recommendations on risk improvement measures, safety management, loss control and related processes.

Key duties include assessing property fire and burglary risks, evaluating loss potential (EML, PML), preparing rating applications for PIAM, conducting 3-year reviews for self-rating and special-rating risks, and delivering timely risk improvement

Qualifications

Preferable minimum of three years experience as a Risk Surveyor in the insurance industry.

Responsibilities

Assess the quality of general insurance risks namely property fire & burglary.
Assess loss potential (EML, PML) in accordance with agreed definitions.
Prepare special rating applications for submission to PIAM.
Conduct 3-Year Review assessments for Self-Rating and Special-Rating risks.
Provide risk improvement advice (RIA) and issuing them in a timely manner and perform the necessary follow-up and status review in accordance to ZRE guidelines.
Complete all of these assignments within the stipulated time frame.
Continuously learn and improve technical knowledge in risk engineering and soft skills through own initiatives and formal training for capability level upgrade.
