Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for delivering SCB Direct Closure (DC) channel APE sales target.
- Manage and motivate bank sales staff to meet the APE target set for the financial year.
- Provide core insurance support and conduct joint sales activities.
- Coach and role-play with sales staff to enhance their skills.
- Stay updated on insurance industry topics such as Inheritance Tax and SST.
- Align with branch managers to plan and manage branch activities related to direct closure, including events, joint sales calls, and product training.
- Coach bank sales staff to improve key drivers like active ratio, conversion ratio, productivity, and product holdings ratio.
- Mentor staff to adhere to compliance guidelines, best sales practices, and quality service standards.
- Manage Penders to achieve the channel's average conversion ratio.
- Conduct monthly sales planning with Branch Managers, including sales forecasts, action plans, and cross-selling strategies.
- Liaise with PDCS, policyholders, and business partners to assist with appeals and complaints if necessary.
- Participate in monthly business reviews and visitations with RSM and Business Partners.
- Build rapport with key stakeholders such as SCB RM, BSSM, BM, BOSM, and STM.
- Implement new distribution models at branches as required.
- Address queries and guide bank sales staff on product features, forms, and administrative matters.
- Support bank sales staff in handling client policy service inquiries to ensure effective communication.
- Assist with items pending with PAMB for processing.
- Provide second-level support through the respective RSM when the primary support is unavailable.
- Monitor branch bancassurance business persistency and customer service from previous referral channels.
Job Specification
- Possess a recognized Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in any discipline.
- Have at least 3 years of sales experience in the financial services industry.
- Knowledge of insurance, banking, and other financial products.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with multi-lingual ability.
