Job summary

O-I BJC in Malaysia seeks an Instrumentation Technician to install, maintain, repair, and calibrate industrial instrumentation and control equipment across level, flow, pressure, temperature, and water-analysing devices. Telemetry systems troubleshooting and calibration must be performed to ensure accurate readings.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic or SKM required.
• Good knowledge of Electrical, Electronic and Instrumentation.
• Understanding of process control systems including PLC/SCADA.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair, overhaul, calibrate and test various instrumentation and control equipment.
• Troubleshoot telemetry and process controller hardware; understand telemetry software/systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and adjustments; document activities and spare parts used.
