Job summary

The Australian International School Malaysia in Selangor is seeking a Primary Classroom teacher to join our Junior School team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Australian curriculum, support student development and contribute positively to our vibrant school community.

A passionate and inspiring educator will foster a safe learning environment, show initiative and collaboration with parents and colleagues, and contribute to a rich co-curricular program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Degree in Speciality plus Diploma of Education.
• Current Teacher Registration in home country, including relevant Police Checks.
• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience.
• Previous teaching experience in Early Childhood, Kindergarten or Foundation Stage preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exemplary student-centred, ICT rich learning experience for students.
• Plan, program and deliver high quality teaching and learning activities for diverse needs.
• Maintain a safe and secure educational environment meeting appropriate standards of behaviour.
• Assess and report in line with School expectations.
• Undertake curriculum development tasks as directed by the school.
• Develop productive relationships with parents and colleagues to support learning.
• Participate in professional growth.
• Contribute to rich co-curricular experiences for students.
• Other duties as directed by the Principal or Head of School.
