Qualifications

• Experience teaching KS3 and IGCSE preferred.
• Ability to teach physics across KS3 and IGCSE with potential to teach another science.
• Strong use of technology to enhance learning.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare lessons.
• Teach assigned students, setting high expectations.
• Set and mark work, including examinations.
• Assess, record and report on progress and attainment.
• Provide feedback to help students improve.
• Adapt lesson plans based on feedback.
• Provide regular reports and grades for students.
• Attend parent-teacher meetings and communicate with parents.
• Provide references when requested.
• Prepare examinations and tests, including common assessments.
• Cover lessons for absent teachers as required.
• Lead two extra-curricular activities weekly.
• Support marketing of the School to prospective students and parents.
• Mentor Sixth Form Tutor role and lead PSHE lessons.
• Engage in CPD and performance development programs.
