Job summary

Sunsuria Berhad, a diversified property developer, seeks an Inspector of Works to monitor master infrastructure works on site in Sepang. You will report daily progress, inspect earthworks, roadworks, drainage, piping and underground utilities, and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and safety standards.

You will liaise with contractors and consultants, maintain QA/QC records, assist in progress claims, and support large-scale projects such as data centres.

• Experience inspecting infrastructure works on large projects.

Responsibilities

• Report daily site progress to SPM/PM/Superior(s).
• Monitor master infrastructure works: earthworks, roadworks, drainage, piping, utilities.
• Supervise works to ensure conformity with drawings, specs, quality, and safety.
• Coordinate inspections with contractors, sub-contractors and consultants; resolve issues on site.
• Prepare QA/QC forms, checklists, daily records, and site photographs.

Job description

Report to SPM / PM / Superior(s) on daily site progress, infrastructure work status and key site issues.

Monitor and inspect master infrastructure works, including earthworks, roadworks, drainage, piping, sewerage and underground utilities, in accordance with approved work programmed.

Supervise construction activities and ensure all infrastructure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards and safety requirements.

Liaise and coordinate with contractors, nominated sub-contractors and consultants on site inspections, technical matters and rectification of site issues.

Coordinate and check infrastructure drawings and technical details, and identify any discrepancies, non-conformances or potential construction issues for corrective action.

Prepare and maintain QA/QC inspection forms, checklists, daily records, site photographs, inspection reports and other relevant project documentation.

Monitor testing, rectification and completion of infrastructure works, including verification of work done and supporting progress claim assessment.

Assist in monitoring infrastructure works for Data Centre and other large-scale / mixed development projects, including external roads, drainage, piping and underground utility works, and perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.
