- To carry out all M&E / C&S / Architectural inspections on site.
- To coordinate with other IOW related works.
- To supervise daily works to ensure compliance with approved specifications and drawings.
- To verify contractor site daily reports and compile relevant documents.
- To witness tests and ensure only approved materials are used as per contract.
- To generate site progress reports and issue site memos as necessary.
- To identify and report defects on site for further action.
- To monitor contractors’ daily work progress and manpower.
- To monitor construction schedules and report anomalies.
- To push contractors regarding work progress to avoid delays.
- To regularly report site matters and progress to the site manager.
- To report non-conformance work to superiors for action.
- To report discrepancies between drawings and actual work immediately.
- To record and compile all site activities daily.
- To liaise with and assist other site colleagues as required.
- To attend progress coordination meetings with contractors and consultants.
- To ensure operations adhere to global standards, focusing on environmental impact, biodiversity, and waste management.
- To minimize resource usage and promote recycling.
- To maintain high environmental safety standards and prevent pollution.
- To ensure proper utilization of construction materials and resources.
- To prevent misuse of resources.
Control & Monitoring the Defect Rectification
- To ensure units are rectified with minimal defects.
- To conduct joint inspections with Customer Relation Department before CPC issuance.
- To inspect units after CPC to ensure proper installation and cleanliness.
- To record defect lists and forward to relevant contractors.
- To carry out joint inspections upon receiving defect lists.
- To monitor rectification progress within the allowable time frame.
- To update the status of rectification work regularly.
- To coordinate with Customer Service for joint defect inspections.
- To execute final inspections with Customer Relation Department and hand over keys.
Others
- To ensure site compliance with safety and health regulations (DOSH/JKKP).
- To implement policies, procedures, and instructions as per the quality management system.
- To meet customer and statutory requirements.
- To implement actions from risk and opportunity assessments.
- To undertake additional duties as instructed by superiors.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in M&E / C&S / Architectural consultancy or developer.
- Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Revit or relevant design software.
- Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
- Willing to be based in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru, or Melaka.
