Job summary

FIRST CITY CORPORATION SDN. BHD. invites applications for Lecturers in the Faculty of Business and Communication.

The role focuses on teaching and learning quality, developing materials, setting exams, and guiding students through assessments in line with the syllabus. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in a related discipline, with PhD preferred, at least two years of tertiary teaching experience, and strong IT-enabled teaching skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related discipline.
• PhD preferred; fresh PhD graduates are encouraged to apply.
• At least 2 years of lecturing experience in tertiary education.
• Relevant industrial experience considered an added value.
• Experience developing teaching methodologies and materials with IT in teaching and learning.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Review, update and develop lesson plans, scheme of work, lectures/practicals, tutorials, assignments, and class discussions in compliance with the syllabus and curriculum.
• Initiate small group tutorials for students in need.
• Nurture student talents and potential through extracurricular activities.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned from time to time.
