Job description

We are looking for a hands-on and reliable Production Technician (Injection Moulding) to support the daily operation of our injection molding production line. The ideal candidate will have experience in machine setup, troubleshooting, and maintaining production equipment in a manufacturing environment. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth production flow, minimizing downtime, and maintaining high product standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Operation & Setup:

Set up and operate injection molding machines according to production requirements.

Monitor and adjust machine parameters to ensure optimal performance and product quality.

Quality Control:

Collaborate with the QA team to inspect and verify product quality.

Perform corrective actions when quality issues arise.

Record production data and maintain accurate logs.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

Troubleshoot and resolve injection molding issues during production.

Perform routine preventive maintenance on machines and equipment.

Ensure proper use and care of tools and machinery.

Workplace Management:

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Follow company safety procedures and workplace rules at all times.

Assist in managing scrap and regrind materials effectively.

Contribute to productivity improvement by minimizing cycle time and material waste.

Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvement.

Support production team and supervisor with additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

Education:

Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronic, or related technical fields is preferred.

Fresh graduates with strong technical skills are encouraged to apply.

Experience:

3–5 years of experience in injection molding or manufacturing production is an advantage.

Experience operating injection molding machines is preferred.

Soft Skills:

Strong attention to detail and a proactive work attitude.

Good communication skills and ability to follow work instructions.

Willingness to work shifts and perform overtime when required.

Language:

Basic English is required.

Mandarin or Bahasa Malaysia proficiency is a plus.
