YOUR MISSION

As an Infrastructure & Network Engineer, your mission is to enhance and maintain the operational integrity of Juris’ IT systems and infrastructure. You will be providing proactive support and innovative solutions that ensure maximum uptime, optimal performance, and security for our clients. By fostering strong partnerships and continuous improvement on our service delivery, you will be helping businesses to achieve their technological objectives smoothly and efficiently.

HOW WOULD YOU ACHIEVE THIS?

• Monitor and manage all installed systems and infrastructure for our clients.
• Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
• Perform routine maintenance and upgrades to ensure the health and reliability of services.
• Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes.
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
• Document and report on incidents and maintenance activities.
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as required.
• Adhere to company’s quality standards and procedures.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR?

• You are someone who:
• Possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or any other relevant field.
• Has proven working experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting UNIX/ LINUX and/or Windows based environments.
• Has experience in virtualization and containerization (e.g. VMware, Virtualbox).
• Experience with monitoring systems (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, Zabbix).
• Has solid networking knowledge (e.g., OSI network layers, TCP/IP).
• Having knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
