About the Department

The Technology and Operations function comprises five specialized teams: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance, and planning support and services. We collaborate closely to leverage technology in supporting our physical and digital banking services and operations, including developing, centralizing, and standardizing technology systems and banking operations across Singapore and overseas branches.

Job Responsibilities

We are seeking an Infrastructure Delivery Lead to oversee the planning, building, and implementation of inbound infrastructure projects. The role is responsible for building and provisioning core infrastructure and application infrastructure, as well as driving improvements to optimize processes and promote the adoption of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) / Platform as a Service (PaaS). Reporting functionally to the Service Build Engineering Lead under Group Infrastructure Platform Services, the Infrastructure Delivery Lead will be accountable for the team and resources within our Infrastructure and Platform Build engineering. The role ensures high service performance, evaluates stakeholder feedback, and drives satisfaction and time-to-market improvements.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Managing initiatives, engaging with key business partners, and driving successful outcomes within set timelines.
  • Focusing on planning, execution, and delivery of infrastructure and platform projects.
  • Preparing and maintaining realistic project and quality plans, and providing regular, accurate reports to stakeholders.
  • Engaging with infrastructure dependency teams such as network, storage, hardware suppliers, and server operations to prioritize project demands.
  • Leading the Infra and platform build engineers, identifying opportunities for improvement, and iterating on infrastructure build and engineering services.
  • Developing, mentoring, and leading the team to meet SLA and KPI requirements.
  • Configuring hardware and software for end-users, creating documentation, and sharing best practices.
  • Handling escalations related to infrastructure demand from projects, delegating tasks appropriately, and ensuring follow-up and resolution.
  • Supporting build engineers in troubleshooting OS, middleware, and platform issues.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum of 8 years of leadership/management experience, focusing on career development for direct reports.
  • Expertise in banking infrastructure concepts, practices, procedures, and ITIL processes.
  • Experience in delivering infrastructure build projects with knowledge of infrastructure technologies and best practices.
  • Strong background in adhering to SLA requirements and mentoring others to achieve SLA goals within a helpdesk environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in promptly responding to support emails and chats with a positive, helpful attitude.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
