Altera is seeking a skilled Infrastructure and DevOps OSAT Support Engineer to join our team. This role is crucial for maintaining Altera legacy revenue products with minimal business impact, may require support during odd hours. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure management, DevOps practices, and offshore assembly and testing operations, with a focus on optimizing system performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for Lab/OSAT operations, ensuring seamless integration and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for optimizing assembly and testing processes.
• Develop and maintain automation tools and processes to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
• Manage network security and compliance, including regular updates and patches.
• Oversee storage solutions and network configurations for manufacturing engineering.
• Ensure uninterrupted operation of production servers and critical services.
• Monitor systems and manage hardware life cycles.
• Provide on-site support to resolve technical issues promptly.
• Act as a liaison with corporate IT teams for effective communication.
• Manage domain accounts, password policies, and group policies.
• Address operating system layer issues to ensure system uptime.
• Oversee virtualization platforms like VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation in offshore assembly and testing support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in network, infrastructure support and DevOps practices, preferably knowledge in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of network security protocols and server management.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
