Here’s where you come in:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Security Engineer to join our team. You will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and efficient IT infrastructure across our on-premises and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Designing and deploying robust and secure network solutions, including LAN, WLAN, and WAN environments.
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining software and hardware across servers and endpoints.
• Administering and supporting network devices such as switches, routers, wireless access points, CCTV systems, and door access control systems.
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex IT issues escalated from the support team, both in cloud and on-premises environments.
• Enhancing and managing IT infrastructure with a strong emphasis on network and system security.
• Monitoring and optimizing network performance for resilience, efficiency, and scalability.
• Ensuring servers, firewalls, and network equipment are regularly updated with the latest firmware and patches.
• Preparing and presenting periodic infrastructure and security status reports to stakeholders.
• Supporting and maintaining in-house AV systems to meet organizational communication needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency with major cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong understanding of networking principles and operating systems, with experience in open-source tools and solutions.
• Hands-on experience with network and cybersecurity technologies such as Fortinet, Cisco, and Aruba.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.
• Foundational knowledge of AI technologies, including machine learning, data analysis, or AI-driven automation tools, is a plus.
• Possession of industry-recognized security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate/Professional, or Fortinet NSE certifications is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Proficiency in Mandarin is mandatory for effective communication across teams and stakeholders.
• Capable of preparing technical documentation, system manuals, task reports, and guidelines in a clear and structured format.
