Job description

Key Responsibilities

1. Establish systems specifications by conferring with users, analyzing workflow, access, information and security requirements as well as designing systems infrastructure.
2. Maintain systems performance by performing system monitoring and analysis, performance tuning, troubleshooting system hardware, networks and operating and systems management.
3. Obtain and license software by obtaining the required information from vendors, recommending purchases and testing and approving products.
4. Secure system by monitoring, control, and evaluation, completing back-ups and maintaining documentation.
5. Improve operations by conducting systems analysis, recommending changes in policies and procedures.
6. Upgrade system by conferring with vendors and services, testing, evaluating and installing enhancements and new software.
7. Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
8. Provide network support and setup/configure, troubleshoot video conferencing systems and hardware, routers, switches, firewall, VLAN, VPN, leased line, SDSL, private line.
9. Support and setup, troubleshoot, maintain client’s PC, printers and multifunctional copier and other ad-hoc support required by the management from time to time.
10. Support and assist PABX and telephony system.
11. Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the art development tools, programming techniques and computing equipment.
12. Established system by planning and execution of selection, installation, configuration, and testing of PC and server hardware, software, LAN and WAN networks, and operating and systems management.

Job Requirements

1. Has minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
2. At least 2 years working experience in hardware/network setup and maintenance, IT hardware, operating system, basic networking, server and data communication.
3. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all levels of employees.
