Job summary

Yokogawa Electric (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a professional to manage the day-to-day software support desk for the region, ensuring timely, high-quality helpdesk services and strong client satisfaction.

You will work under the Regional Software Support Lead to build client relationships, deliver consulting on modelling projects, and grow the software business both upstream and downstream in the region.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing software support desk operations.
• Ability to provide technical consulting to project-based workload.
• Willingness to travel 20–30% per year, domestic/international.

Responsibilities

• Client liaison and discussion of technical aspects of work, project specifications and documentation.
• Analyze data, execute and review process calculations.
• Implement solutions at client sites – Model design and configuration, system installation and testing.
• Serve as technology specialist in consulting projects.
• Assist with training material development as needed.
• Software project management and related tasks.
