Job summary

Advanced Energy in Penang Science Park, Simpang Ampat, is seeking an Industrial Engineering Technician to support engineers in developing efficient production systems. You will engage in time studies, takt time analysis, and layout updates under supervision, driving improvements across the line and equipment setup.

Qualified candidates have a Diploma in Industrial/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering with at least five years of related experience, strong Excel/AutoCAD skills, and good

• Diploma in Industrial, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of related experience.
• Ability to perform time studies and time estimation.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic English reading ability preferred.
• Knowledge of line setup and workspace design.

Responsibilities

• Assist in time studies and time estimation.
• Update site layouts and project layouts as directed.
• Support takt time analysis calculations.
• Assist on line relocation, installation and setup.
• Maintain and modify workstation, rack, trolley, and tools.
• Support KPIs related to production efficiency and improvement.
• Adhere to quality, health, safety and 5S policies.
