Job summary

ResMed in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, seeks an Industrial Engineering Manager to lead manufacturing improvements, productivity, and Industry 4.0 initiatives. You will guide a high-performing team across Labor planning, bottleneck removal, and performance analytics to support expansion and cross-functional goals.

You should have 8+ years in manufacturing with 3+ years in leadership, a Bachelor’s in engineering, and strong Lean/Six Sigma experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in industrial, manufacturing or mechanical engineering or equivalent.
8+ years in manufacturing with 3+ years in a leadership role.
Strong capability in labour planning, capacity planning, line balancing and time studies.
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and cost reduction.

Responsibilities

Lead industrial engineering activities across labour planning, time studies, line balancing, and capacity analysis.
Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, continuous improvement and cost reduction.
Identify and eliminate bottlenecks to boost productivity and throughput.
Optimise workforce planning, factory layouts, and material flow.
Develop KPIs, dashboards and analytics to inform decisions.
Support factory expansion and capacity planning; contribute to Industry 4.0 initiatives.
Lead and develop a high-performing Industrial Engineering team.
Collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain and Engineering to meet objectives.
