Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Industrial Engineer (open to fresh graduates) to provide efficient planning and recommendations for the Operations group to meet business demand. The role covers establishing process standards, time studies, capacity and layout planning, and productivity improvements to enhance cost, quality and cycle time.

Ideal candidates hold an Engineering degree or Diploma, with fresh graduates encouraged to apply, and strong command of English and Mandarin.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Diploma with 3 years related working experience.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Good command of both English and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Capacity planning: forecast, compute capacity, publish monthly reports.
• Layout planning: propose new layouts for smooth material flow and new processes.
• Productivity improvement: suggest methods to improve cost, quality and cycle time.

Industrial Engineer (Open for fresh graduates)

To provide the most efficient planning and recommendations to support the Operations group in meeting business demand.

Responsibilities:

1. Establish and maintain Process standards.

• Conduct time study to establish Process UPH for current and new equipments or new processes.
• Maintain the standards and update changes when required.
• Recommend for improvement thru the work methods/ elements studied.

2. Capacity Planning

• Get Monthly Forecast from PC and compute Equipment and labour capacity requirement.
• Review overall process capacity with Operations group and highlight constraint area.
• Publish monthly capacity report to Operation group.
• Recommend equipment plan (ASE site transfer or purchase).
• Compute yearly capacity planning and Capex tracking.

3. Layout Planning

• Propose new layout planning implementation.
• For smooth material flow.
• New business or process introduction.

4. Productivity Improvement

• Recommend for process improvement thru work methods/ sequence.
• Improve cost, quality and cycle time.

5. As per assigned from time to time.
