Job summary

ams OSRAM is seeking an Industrial Engineer for our Kulim site. You will support layout planning, logistics, and shopfloor automation including AMHS, ensuring throughput and equipment availability targets are met.

With 1–3 years in semiconductors, you will perform data analyses, drive improvement projects, and apply IE tools such as OEE and SPC. Strong English and Malay communication is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree / Master degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 1-3 years of working experience in semiconductor or high-tech industry.
• Understanding and application of industrial engineering tools and methodology. Experience in data analysis and improvement projects.
• Professional knowledge in Semiconductor capacity planning, Data analytics and data systems, IE Timestudies & Statistics Knowledge & SPC.

Responsibilities

• Layout planning, logistics and shopfloor automation including AMHS.
• Maintain equipment planning parameters (e.g. throughput, availability, efficiencies) in planning systems.
• Lead and contribute to cross-functional productivity projects to improve equipment performance and utilization.
• Drive OEE/IEE improvement initiatives, including root cause analysis of downtime, speed losses, and quality-related impacts in close collaboration with process engineering, maintenance, and production.
