Indoor Service Technician (Mechatronic/Mechanical/Electrical)
We are a market leader for Centralized Temperature Monitoring Systems, Pharma Fridges, Freezers along with Specialty Laboratory Equipment to the healthcare, industrial, research and academic institutions.
Expanding installed base both in East and West Malaysia since our inception 35 years ago, calls for additional technicians. As an Indoor Service Technician, you will be part of our technical team responsible for supporting cold chain systems, sensor calibration, equipment inspection, and internal servicing activities. You will also support occasional field tasks when needed.
Responsibilities
- Cold Chain Systems
- Assemble various cold chain components, including controller boxes, UPS units, and dry contact power loss modules.
- Perform quality checks (QC) on sensors, routers, modems, controllers, and voltage converters (e.g., step-up/step-down units).
- Reinspect, retest, and recondition returned devices such as sensors and controllers (e.g., replacing ferrules, updating configurations).
- Participate in pre-installation activities for cold chain systems, including TG Wired, Wireless, and Cobalt CX setups.
- Prepare calibration kits by setting up and pairing controllers and sensors before submission to external calibration vendors.
- Service & Equipment
- Perform HT Test on autoclaves at the warehouse to ensure proper functionality.
- Inspect and calibrate new IUL equipment prior to deployment.
- Replace batteries in LogTag data loggers as part of routine device maintenance.
- Inspect new refrigerators.
- Perform calibration on refrigerators to ensure temperature accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct qualification procedures, including IQ, OQ, and PQ, in accordance with standard protocols.
- Prepare and document basic user guidelines for newly introduced refrigerator models.

- Prepare and calibrate sensors to meet required specifications and accuracy standards.
- Support & Field Assistance
- Be on standby to carry out ad hoc field service tasks within Klang Valley when field engineers or technicians are unavailable.
- Review site data and liaise with customers for troubleshooting, follow-up, or support coordination.
- Assist in managing and resolving support requests through the internal ticketing system.
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Mechatronics (or a related technical field).
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant hands-on experience.
- Familiar with basic hardware/software installation and troubleshooting.
- Possesses basic skills and understanding in cabling, wiring, and soldering.
- Proficient in Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 10, and Windows 11.
- Strong team player with a learning mindset and can adapt quickly.
- Demonstrates multitasking abilities to manage various tasks efficiently.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel within Klang Valley when required.
