Job Description
  • Strategic purchasing for Facility Management Services across Malaysia, Vietnam, Australia, Korea, Thailand, Japan, and Singapore - source to contract.
  • Implement and support global category strategies with a key focus on Canteen Services, ensuring full process and compliance alignment.
  • Build and strengthen partnerships with key stakeholders, including technical functions and production maintenance teams.
  • Drive early involvement in project planning and execution to enhance sourcing effectiveness.
  • Lead the preparation and execution of RFI/RFQ processes.
  • Design and implement tailored negotiation strategies, whether under competitive or direct award scenarios.
  • Prepare and secure internal approvals for purchasing decisions and contracts, following internal signature and governance policies.
  • Manage supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery, quality compliance, and adherence to Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate supplier data, performance evaluations, and contracts.
  • Champion process efficiency and digital transformation by increasing automated order rates through tools like eCatalogues and Scheduling Agreements.
  • Act as the key contact for internal customers on all matters related to Indirect Purchasing.
  • Align with stakeholders to develop and implement neutral and functional specifications
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in Procurement, Sourcing, Contracts Management, Facility Management, Engineering, or Canteen Management, with at least 5 years of professional experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong contract and pricing negotiation skills, with a results-driven and decisive approach—especially under time-sensitive situations.
  • Expert knowledge in purchasing Canteen and Facility Management Services, with a solid understanding of supply chain fundamentals (logistics, planning, order processes, etc.).
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
  • A problem-solving and analytical mindset, able to identify issues, develop actionable solutions, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across various hierarchy levels and cultures in a global matrix environment.
  • Strong cross-functional coordination abilities and a commercial mindset to support business goals.
  • High attention to detail with strong clarity and accuracy in your work.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership, with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Skilled in data analysis, proficient in Microsoft Office, and comfortable working in a digital-first environment.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is essential; additional language skills are a plus.
  • A technical understanding and genuine interest in learning about facility-related services and procurement tools.
  • Strong de-escalation and conflict resolution skills in complex supplier or stakeholder scenarios.
  • A genuine passion for working in an international, cross-functional team environment, valuing diverse perspectives and collaborative success.
