Job summary

Suntory Holdings Limited in Malaysia seeks an Indirect Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing across indirect spend. You will partner with Marketing, IT, Finance, and Operations to develop sourcing strategies, drive cost savings, and manage supplier performance in Malaysia and Singapore.

Reporting to Senior Procurement Manager, South Cluster, you will work as a sole contributor within Supply Chain - Procurement, delivering value through governance, risk management, and process

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of indirect procurement experience and strategic sourcing.
• Proven ability in supplier negotiations, contract management, and sourcing projects.
• Strong stakeholder management in a matrix organization.
• Proficiency with procurement systems and MS Office applications.
• Experience in FMCG, Consumer Goods, or multinational environment is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for indirect procurement categories.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities: tender management, supplier selection, contract negotiations, onboarding.
• Deliver cost savings, avoidance, and value creation aligned to business objectives.
• Build partnerships with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and opportunities.
• Manage supplier performance with regular reviews, KPI monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with policies, governance, and ethical sourcing.
• Identify and mitigate supply, commercial, and contractual risks.
• Drive procurement process improvements, digitalization, and automation.
• Utilize procurement systems to enhance spend visibility and decision-making.
• Support regional and cross-functional procurement projects as needed.

As theIndirect Procurement Manager, you will lead strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives across indirect spend categories, ensuring value creation, cost optimization, supplier performance, and governance excellence. You will partner closely with stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, IT, HR, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations to develop sourcing strategies that support business growth and operational efficiency.

This role offers the opportunity to influence procurement decisions across Malaysia and Singapore while driving continuous improvement and strengthening supplier relationships.

What You'll Do

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in indirect procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management.
• Proven experience managing supplier negotiations, contract management, and sourcing projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills in a matrix organization.
• Experience managing significant procurement spend and delivering measurable savings.
• Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in procurement systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG, Consumer Goods, Food & Beverage, Manufacturing, or multinational environments.
• Exposure to regional procurement projects and cross-border stakeholder management.
• Experience with SAP, Coupa, Ariba, or equivalent procurement platforms.
• Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, or ISM are advantageous.
• Experience leading procurement transformation or digitalization initiatives.
