Job summary

BD in Kedah, Kulim is seeking a QA/Incoming Materials Supervisor with at least 2 years in supplier management to lead incoming activities, maintain supplier records, and drive quality improvements. You will review vendor performance, audits, and materials testing methods to ensure compliance with internal standards.

You will supervise QA staff, coordinate with production and engineering, and help develop new analytical procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years working experience in supplier management/incoming activities.
• Technical knowledge or experience in materials and engineering background.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall management of Incoming activities including incoming material acceptance, maintenance of components part numbers, development and issuance of component specifications, review and trending of vendor performance, vendor audits and maintenance of the Certified Supplier Program.
• Ensure QA Supervisors are maintaining records, processing data and generating reports memorandums to effectively communicate with relevant personnel.
• Explore and develop new analytical methods or improve current test procedures/technologies.
• Maintain housekeeping at Incoming Area.
• Maintain and update all Incoming/Supplier Management procedures and comply with Division and Corporate requirements.
• Responsible for training new Incoming QA Supervisor.
• Develop vendor audit schedule and perform vendor audits to ensure compliance.
• Conduct regular Material Review Board meetings to review inventory status and supplier quality.
