Job summary

Pullman Kuching is seeking an Income Auditor to review and verify daily hotel revenue, ensuring accuracy and proper posting in line with policy. You will reconcile cash and card payments, verify room and F&B charges, and prepare daily revenue reports with oversight from Finance.

Collaboration with Front Office and F&B is essential to resolve discrepancies. The role requires 1–3 years in hotel finance, strong Excel skills, and a detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in accounting or finance.
• 1–3 years experience in hotel finance or accounting.
• Experience in income auditing or revenue accounting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of PMS and POS systems.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Independent and able to meet daily deadlines.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Malaysian candidates only; Sarawak preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end closing and revenue reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies and internal controls.
• Liaise with Front Office, F&B and other departments to resolve issues.
• Support audits and other duties as assigned by Finance Management.

Job Summary

The Income Auditor is responsible for reviewing and verifying the hotel's daily revenue transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness and proper recording in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily audit of hotel revenue from rooms, F&B outlets and other operating departments.
• Verify daily revenue reports against the hotel's Property Management System (PMS) and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Check and reconcile cash, credit card, bank and other payment transactions.
• Review daily cashier summaries and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
• Verify room charges, discounts, complimentary rooms, rebates and adjustments.
• Review F&B revenue, voids, discounts, cancellations and complimentary transactions.
• Investigate and follow up on any discrepancies or unusual transactions.
• Prepare the daily revenue report and other required financial reports.
• Ensure all revenue is accurately posted to the appropriate accounts and dates.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of daily audit records.
• Assist with month-end closing and revenue reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with hotel financial policies, internal controls and Accor standards.
• Liaise with Front Office, F&B and other departments to resolve revenue-related discrepancies.
• Support internal and external audits when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Finance Management.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in hotel finance or accounting.
• Experience in income auditing or hotel revenue accounting is preferred.
• Good knowledge of hotel PMS and POS systems.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with good attention to detail.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and internal controls.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Able to work independently and meet daily deadlines.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Open to Malaysian candidates only; preferably local Sarawakian.
