Job summary

Strato Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support secure, scalable environments and CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate with developers, infrastructure, data, AI/ML and security teams to automate deployments, containerisation and monitoring across on-prem, cloud and hybrid platforms.

The role requires hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git and CI/CD tooling, plus proficiency in IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible, and strong networking knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/SE or equivalent.
• 4+ years in DevOps, Cloud or related roles.
• Hands-on CI/CD implementation and administration.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Git, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Good Linux administration and scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
• Experience with Terraform or Ansible; IaC.
• Experience deploying web apps, APIs and microservices.
• Understanding of NGINX, API gateways, load balancers, SSL/TLS, networking.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana and ELK/Elastic Stack.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deployment and release management.
• Automate build, test, deployment across dev, test, staging, prod.
• Deploy and manage containerised apps with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Manage Git repositories and release processes.
• Configure DevOps tools (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Support deployment of web apps, APIs and microservices.
• Implement IaC with Terraform/Ansible.
• Monitor and log across environments (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Ensure security with DevSecOps practices and vulnerability management.
• Troubleshoot deployment, container, app and infra issues.
