Job description

IM&S R&F Operational Junior Buyer (up to RM6800)

Location: Petaling Jaya

Position Purpose:

As the IM&S R&F Operational Buyer, you will provide high-quality procurement services, ensuring that SLAs and service obligations are met. You will report to the R&F IM&S Team Lead.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Create, change, and follow-up on Purchase Orders based on requirements.
  2. Perform simplified sourcing activities within the threshold limit.
  3. Manage AP workflow related to price discrepancies.
  4. Generate Purchase Orders via SAP/SRM proactively.
  5. Handle quality non-conformities.
  6. Solve problems involving requisitions and purchase orders: check their quality, track the PO, and follow up on approvals; create, modify, and monitor POs based on requirements; create and update procurement master data (vendors).
  7. Oversee the organization of internal processes: document processes and documents, and collaborate with other areas.
  8. Support the PSS service area by clarifying consultations with suppliers and requesting users, coordinating incident resolution, providing support, and updating support tickets; define strategies for ongoing training for users and new revenue applicants.
  9. Contribute to harmonization and communication procedures: identify opportunities for improvement and scale.
  10. Interact with users across different countries in the region to clarify specifications, address their consumption needs, and resolve issues and complaints from users & vendors.
Job Requirements:
  • Possess a Bachelor Degree in a relevant field.
  • Fresh graduates and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin (Speak, Read & Write). Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
  • Open for a 6-month contract position.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and SAP is preferred.
