Job description

Operational Junior Buyer (up to RM5000) #NAD17#

As an Operational Junior Buyer, you will be part of a dynamic procurement team responsible for supporting purchasing activities and ensuring operational efficiency. Reporting directly to the Team Lead, you will manage procurement processes, support internal stakeholders, and ensure timely and accurate processing of purchase requests.

Key Responsibilities

Create, modify, and monitor Purchase Orders (POs) based on business needs.

Perform simplified sourcing within approved thresholds.

Resolve price discrepancies and manage related AP workflows.

Proactively generate POs using SAP/SRM systems.

Investigate and address non-conformities related to quality and processes.

Collaborate with internal users across regions to clarify specifications and resolve issues.

Maintain documentation and support continuous process improvements.

Assist with supplier communication, issue resolution, and system support tickets.

Support user onboarding and contribute to training and knowledge sharing.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.

Fresh graduates and experienced professionals are welcome to apply.

Proficiency in English and Mandarin (spoken, written, and reading) is required. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Additional language proficiency is an added advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. SAP knowledge is preferred.

Willingness to work on a 6-month contract with potential for permanent placement.
