IGCSE Teacher (Permas Jaya) – August 2025 Intake

The position is for the new academic year starting in August 2025.

Must be able to teach the IGCSE syllabus for at least one of the following subjects:

  1. Primary Level: English; or Science & Mathematics; or Mandarin
  2. Secondary Level: Global Perspectives; or English; or Accounting, Economics & Business Studies; or Science subjects; or Mandarin

Responsibilities include:

  1. Developing lesson plans, instructional materials, and activities based on the curriculum and co-curriculum to suit students' needs.
  2. Designing and setting assessment papers for designated subjects.
  3. Organizing school events and collaborating with the organizing committee.
  4. Assisting the Pastoral Care Committee and providing counseling.
  5. Inculcating civic sense and instilling discipline among students to promote a positive learning environment.
  6. Creating an engaging learning environment through displays, bulletin boards, and interest centers.
  7. Evaluating students' academic progress through assessments and maintaining proper records.
  8. Preparing and maintaining reports on students' social and academic development.
  9. Communicating with parents via conferences and other methods to discuss progress and gather feedback.
  10. Maintaining professional competence through observations and training.
  11. Participating in performance evaluations and contributing to group discussions and committees.
  12. Being flexible to be deployed according to the school's needs.
