Job description

Job Summary

Delivers routine actuarial tasks and recommendations requiring minimal supervision, and performs complex analyses under the supervision of senior actuaries, related to reserving, reporting, risk management, or pricing of business.

Job Functions

1. Support the design and setup of Takaful columnar fund reporting in Group Actuarial Central Engine (ACE).
2. Troubleshoot issues and propose solutions for ACE system limitations.
3. Enhance Prophet and DCS to meet columnar reporting requirements in ACE.
4. Collaborate with the FAR team to ensure accurate data input for fund reporting in ACE and clarify reporting requirements.
5. Support calculations for Takaful in ACE.
6. Review ACE-generated results for reporting accuracy and compliance with BNM, industry, and MTA standards.
7. Design and propose new SOPs for fund reporting processes.
8. Document methodologies, limitations, or workarounds used in ACE.
9. Preferably, have 4-5 years of experience in IFRS 17 and Takaful reporting.

Job Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, or related field, with 5 or more years of experience.
