Job Summary

Delivers routine actuarial tasks and recommendations requiring minimal supervision, and performs complex actuarial analyses under the supervision of senior actuaries. The focus areas include reserving, reporting, quantitative risk management, or pricing of business.

Job Functions

1. Support the design and setup of Takaful columnar fund reporting in Group Actuarial Central Engine (ACE).
2. Troubleshoot issues and propose solutions to address ACE system limitations.
3. Enhance Prophet and DCS systems to meet columnar reporting requirements in ACE.
4. Collaborate with the FAR team to ensure accurate data input for fund reporting in ACE and clarify reporting requirements.
5. Assist in calculations related to Takaful in ACE.
6. Review ACE-generated results to ensure compliance with reporting requirements and industry standards such as BNM and MTA.
7. Design and propose SOPs for new fund reporting processes.
8. Document methodologies, limitations, or workarounds used in ACE.
9. Prefer candidates with 4-5 years of experience in IFRS 17 and Takaful reporting.

Job Qualifications

Required: Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, or related field, with 5+ years of experience.
