About The Role


As a CBRE ICT Project Manager based in Johor, you will oversee and execute ICT infrastructure projects within data center environments. This role plays a vital part in delivering high-quality, mission-critical systems, including structured cabling, network deployments, and physical IT infrastructure implementations.

You will be the key driver of ICT project delivery for data center clients in the region—working closely with internal teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure all technical deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and according to client standards.

What You’ll Do

• Manage the complete lifecycle of ICT projects within data centers—planning, implementation, commissioning, and handover.
• Interpret patching schedules, cutsheets, and network layout drawings to ensure correct installation and integration.
• Coordinate structured cabling work, equipment staging, rack layout planning, and patching matrix execution.
• Lead field teams, installation vendors, and subcontractors across multiple data center project sites in Johor.
• Liaise with clients and consultants to define scope, milestones, deliverables, and change controls.
• Conduct risk assessments, site readiness reviews, and compliance audits throughout the project cycle.
• Maintain project schedules, issue logs, and status reports using standard PM tools.
• Ensure all documentation (SOPs, MOPs, redlines, patching diagrams, test results) is up-to-date and properly filed.
• Facilitate testing and commissioning activities and coordinate with facility teams for operational integration.
• Maintain strong health and safety practices during live and construction-phase project work.
  
  

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field; PMP certification is an advantage.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience managing ICT or ELV infrastructure projects, preferably in data center environments.
• Hands-on understanding of patching matrix execution, structured cabling standards, and rack-level hardware planning.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as TIA-942, ISO/IEC 11801, and Uptime Institute Tier guidelines.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), MS Project, and other project tracking systems.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary site teams and coordinate third-party vendors.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including reporting to clients and regional teams.
• Willingness to be on-site for critical works and to travel between local and regional project sites as needed.
